We are a self-sustaining non-profit organization led by experienced community leaders and athletic coaches. Founded by local pastors, George Ripley and Sean Peters, with Crossroads Christian Church.
Our heart is to offer sports experiences in a positive environment that will teach kids more than the ideal principles of winning. Programs are offered at affordable prices to allow all children in Solano County an opportunity to play sports. We welcome players in all stages of their sports journey.
Our program philosophy is a full 360 training- meaning we focus on more than just athletic skills. We provide mentoring, positive leadership, and practical life lessons incorporating faith. Building a healthy mindset and practical, sport-specific skills and fundamentals are essential for well-rounded athletes.
Vaca Sports 4 Kids is a self-sustaining 501(c)(3) sports foundation located in Vacaville, California. Our program enables children of Solano County to play soccer and flag football and participate in cheerleading at an affordable cost. Vaca Sports 4 Kids partners with Upward Sports, a program that takes the “develop the whole child” approach, focusing on the mind, body, and spirit.
Crossroads Christian Church first launched the sports program in 2015 with a modest goal of offering sports to 50 students in a positive environment that would teach them more than the ideal principles of winning. Transitioning to a separate 501(c)3, Vaca Sports 4 Kids was established in the fall of 2022. The program has currently expanded to 350 students and 50+ volunteers.

We provide a safe, encouraging environment where every child desiring to play sports has an unhindered opportunity.
Our approach is to develop and nurture the whole child: mind, body, spirit, and character. We also provide an opportunity for teens and college-age students to coach and mentor their younger peers. Through our program, children receive peer-to-peer mentoring, physical training, and character development to help them discover and embrace their full potential as future leaders.
We provide scholarships for underprivileged children, offering them the opportunity to participate in sports they may not otherwise have had the means to do.
